I have received confirmation of my registration for a workshop "Web 2.0: building on the basics " to be held in London on October 30th 2008. This course is organised by CILIP (Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals) and will "examine Web 2.0 applications in a practical manner, allowing participants to explore ways in which shared search techniques, social bookmarking, saved data, wikis and other applications not only promote the information centre, but provide a richness and depth of information to their users that has not been possible until now. "
